A certified financial planner (CFP) and Canberra chapter chair of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) has been appointed as the Australian Capital Territory client service manager for legal industry superannuation fund, legalsuper.
The superannuation fund announced on Monday that Ragnhild Sky had been appointed to the client service manager role as part of legalsuper’s continuing strategy to build a national on-ground presence.
The fund’s announcement said Sky was a CFP with more than 20 years’ experience and had worked within professional and financial services in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Commenting on the appointment, legalsuper chief executive, Andrew Proebstl said the fund continued to see evidence gathered through annual research and direct feedback from individual members and employers of the benefit of personal service.
“During 2016/17 our customer service team members had more than 3,370 meetings with individual members and employers across Australia, in addition to providing 117 super seminars,” Mr Proebstl said.
“Ragnhild’s appointment continues our strategy of investing in member education and engagement. She is the sixth new client service manager to join our team within the last three years and brings our total field team to 16 across Australia”.
Proebstl said Canberra-based legalsuper membership had increased 31 per cent over the past four years and the fund had supported the ACT Law Society CPD program since 2014.
