The inaugural Super Review charity golf day succeeded in raising more than $10,000 for Mission Australia (Triple Care Farm) and Stewart House.
The golf day, held on February 24, saw 72 golfers tee-off at Sydney’s Manly Golf Club in a four-ball-best-ball competition sponsored by IUS Income Protection, MFS Group, Aberdeen Asset Management and Pillar.
After 18 tightly-contested holes, the four-person team from Stewart House emerged the winners, with the individual male winner being Geoff Shephard from CARM with 39 points and the individual female winner being Philippa Palmer from Mission Australia with 30 points.
Longest drive was recorded by Peter McInnes of JPMorgan , while nearest to the pin was won by consultant, Bill Blair.
The editor’s Bradman Trophy was taken out by an IUS team made up of Michael Anderson, Phil Jones, Tony Williams and Lee Frankish.
Our particular thanks to IUS which not only fulfilled the role of major sponsor but also funded some of the major raffle prizes.
