Associate director with Macquarie Funds Management, Peter Gillespie, died unexpectedly in late April after suffering a heart attack.
Gillespie, 40, was well known throughout the superannuation funds industry having joined Macquarie Funds Management in December 2003, after working for 15 years with AMP.
He is survived by his wife Prue, who is expecting their second child.
A trust is being set up for the education of Prue and Peter’s children. Those wishing to contribute should contact Macquarie Funds Management or AMP.
