Retirement expert, Amara Haqqani, has joined global actuarial consulting firm, Milliman, as Australian director of strategy and solutions.
Haqqani has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, including four years at Challenger, where she served as senior manager, retirement income policy, and advised chairman of retirement income, Jeremy Cooper.
Most recently, she consulted the Financial Services Council on superannuation, retirement income and funds management policy initiatives, including those related to the Productivity Commission’s recent inquiry and the Royal Commission.
Milliman Australia’s practice leader, Wade Matterson, said Haqqani’s appointment would further boost the firm’s ability to help the industry create tailored retirement experiences.
