NAB Asset Servicing’s general manager sales, relationships and financial market services, Brian Keogh, said the arrangement between NAB Asset Servicing and MTAA now extends past 15 years.
“During that time we’ve developed a strong partnership through our quality products and service, and our detailed knowledge of MTAA Super’s structure and investments,” he said.
MTAA Super chief executive Leeanne Turner said the tender process, advised on by specialist consultancy Thomas Murray, had been very thorough and showcased the leading custodians.
“Key factors in our decision to re-appoint NAB were its focus on and expertise in asset servicing for superannuation fund assets, and in particular its expertise with our mix of assets,” Turner said.
“NAB has a longstanding track record with us, and their commitment to invest in the Asset Servicing business, along with the strong local presence, gave us additional confidence in their ability to continue to understand and meet our requirements,” she said.
