Two UK-based CEOs have joined the Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative (PRI) advisory council.

Colin Melvin, CEO of Hermes Equity Ownership Services, and Peter Webster, CEO of EIRIS, were appointed following the council's annual signatory elections.

Niels Erik Petersen, CIO, Unipension, was also reelected after sitting on the council since its inception in 2011.

Colin and Peter replace Ann Byrne, CEO, Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI), and Melissa Brown, Partner, Daobridge Capital Ltd.

Wolfgang Engshuber, Chair of the PRI Advisory Council, congratulated the new members and said he hopes the new board continues to fulfill its objectives of environmental, social and corporate governance in the international investment space.
