David Ephraums has joined Clayton Utz superannuation practice as a partner, bringing over 25 years experience including in-house roles with BT Financial Group, UBS Global Asset Management and AMP.

Working with former Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) board member, Jane Paskin, director Sonia Lopes and senior associates Phillip Turner and Sophie Dalton, Ephraums' experience includes funds management, superannuation, life insurance, portfolio services, financial advice, and retail banking.

"With continued consolidation and regulatory change in the superannuation and funds management sectors, our clients with core services in these areas need legal advisers who understand the industry and regulatory environment within which they operate, as well as the commercial drivers of their businesses," Clayton Utz Banking and Financial Services practice department head Steve O'Reilly said.

"David offers our clients a unique combination of deep legal and industry knowledge, relationships, and experience, with the ability to help them achieve successful commercial outcomes while at the same time meeting their regulatory obligations."
