Marian Azer will return to JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services (WSS) after a 16-year hiatus, taking on the role of head of global fund services product for Australia and New Zealand to assist the firm's clients in growing their businesses.
Previously a principal at Mercer, Azer has also held a number of positions in client service, project and operations roles at BNP, Orion Asset Management and AAS.
Azer will work will clients and the industry to identify market trends and develop client-focused solutions for the global fund services product division.
Head of product, investor services, Australia and New Zealand WSS David Braga said Azer's ability to drive end-to-end programs, core strategic and problem solving skills, and project management and implementation experience complimented the team.
"Marian's appointment underscores J.P. Morgan's continued focus on our clients' evolving needs. Her experience means she will seamlessly transition into the role and be able to quickly respond to changing client and market needs.
"She has an exemplary market reputation and industry presence which will continue to extend our engagement with clients and industry partners," he said.
