National Australia Bank (NAB) has appointed industry veteran and chair of Australian Unity Limited, Peter Promnitz, to the board of its superannuation fund trustee, NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited.
The company said Promnitz had been appointed as a non-executive director to NULIS which is the board responsible for NAB’s superannuation funds, including the MLC Super Fund and products such as Plum, MasterKey Super, MasterKey and Wrap.
Confirming the appointment, NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited chair, Nicole Smith said she welcomed Promnitz to the board as someone who was highly experienced and knowleeagle with a strong background in financial services.
Promnitz will be a member of the board’s MasterKey and Plum Investment Committee and the Risk
Promnitz is chair of Australian Unity Limited and its operating subsidiaries, a non-executive director of Warakirri Asset Management Pty Ltd. He was previously Chair of ASX-listed SFG Australia Limited, CEO of Asia Pacific at Mercer, and Chairman for Australia at Marsh & McLennan Inc.
