Superannuation Advisors Australia (SuperAA), a self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) administration and audit firm, has appointed former SuperConcepts general manager and Justsuper founding chief executive Stephen Doulgeridis as general manager of the Victorian-based business.
Doulgeridis had 25 years of experience in the SMSF sector and had founded Melbourne-based Justsuper, a SMSF administration business, and sold the start-up to SuperConcepts in 2015.
In April 2019, he had departed from his role as general manager – business development, for SuperConcepts.
“Post leaving SuperConcepts, I carefully considered many opportunities. In the end the choice was an easy one,” Doulgeridis said.
“SuperAA is the fastest growing SMSF and it has achieved this via organic growth rather than via acquisition.”
Mike McHenry, SuperAA chief executive, said the appointment of Doulgeridis would bolster the presence of SuperAA in the SMSF market.
“Stephen is without doubt one of the most respected SMSF practitioners working in the industry today and we look forward to the contributions his experience and leadership will bring to our firms bold future plans,” McHenry said.
Cbus has swiftly promoted Leigh Gavin to chief investment officer only months after naming him deputy, as the fund works towards growing in size and bringing its investment expertise in-house.
Bravura CEO Andrew Russell has announced he will be stepping down from the company, just under two years after his appointment.
