Towers Watson has appointed Nick Kelly as an investment consultant and Matthew Conacher as an investment research analyst in the Australian equities manager's research team.
Kelly joins the company from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was senior manager for risk and controls solutions, responsible for providing risk management solutions to investment banks and organisations.
Conacher joins Towers Watson from Standard and Poor's, which ceases Australian ratings operations in October and will focus on managed funds research across a spectrum of asset classes.
Towers Watson has made six other hires over the past year, and now has 750 associates and over US$2 trillion in assets under advice.
