VicSuper has gone for experience with a new appointment to its board.
The superannuation fund announced late last week that it had appointed Merran Kelsall to the Board, noting that she would also take up the position of Chair of the VicSuper Audit, Compliance and Risk Management Committee effective as of June.
Kelsall is regarded as one of the most experienced public service directors in Victoria, with her current appointments includeing Director of RACV Limited, Chairman of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and Australian Health Service Alliance, Member International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and Deputy Chair at Melbourne Water Corporation, Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee for EPA Victoria, and also independent Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee for Victorian Public Sector Commission.
Kelsall replaces Stan Odachowski who served on the VicSuper Board for five years.
