Data and technology firm Novigi has appointed a senior technology leader from MUFG Pension & Market Services to strengthen data and administration services for superannuation clients.

Novigi has appointed Devan Naidoo as senior partner, strengthening its leadership group as it scales its data, technology and administration platform services across the superannuation and wealth sector.

Naidoo brings more than 20 years’ experience in senior technology leadership roles within financial services, specialising in large-scale technology transformation, enterprise architecture, platform modernisation and complex administration environments.

Commencing on 1 January 2026, he joined Novigi from MUFG Pension & Market Services (formerly Link Group), where he most recently served as global technology director, retirement solutions, leading technology strategy and major transformation programs in highly regulated environments.

Prior to MUFG, Naidoo held senior technology leadership roles at Aware Super and UniSuper, where he led significant technology strategy, architecture and modernisation initiatives.

At Novigi, Naidoo will contribute to strategic initiatives for clients, including major data, technology and AI programs, and will play a key role in shaping the firm’s technology strategy as demand for sophisticated, scalable administration and data-driven services continues to grow.

He will also work closely with teams across Novigi to support industry engagement, informed by his understanding of the superannuation sector’s operating environment.

“Devan’s experience leading large-scale technology modernisation and administration platforms in superannuation will materially strengthen our capability,” said Ash Priest, CEO of Novigi.

“As the data and technology partner to the financial services industry, solving some of the sector’s most complex challenges requires the very best talent. We’re privileged to have Devan join us and know his contribution will be invaluable as we continue to expand and enhance the services we provide to our clients.”

Commenting on his appointment Naidoo said: “I’ve watched Novigi’s progress and fantastic client value delivery with real interest over recent years.

“Novigi has established itself as a leading contributor to the industry’s data and technology landscape, and I’m delighted to be joining the team to support the next phase of its innovation and client impact.”

The appointment reflects Novigi’s ongoing growth and focus on building senior leadership capability to support work across the superannuation and wealth ecosystem.

It follows the acquisition of AI consultancy Turning Point Advisory and the transfer of Iress’ superannuation consulting and managed services business from Apex Group, strengthening Novigi’s capability and service capacity.
