Prime Super has awarded MFS Investment Management a new active global fixed income mandate aimed at enhancing long-term member outcomes.
Prime Super has appointed MFS Investment Management to run an active global fixed income mandate, marking a further expansion of MFS’ Australian fixed income presence.
The mandate will be managed through the MFS Global Aggregate Core Plus Fixed Income strategy, which aims to deliver alpha via flexible, active management across global credit, rates and FX markets.
The strategy seeks to outperform the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Index, hedged to AUD, over a full market cycle.

The strategy is led by an experienced global team, including lead portfolio managers Pilar Gomez-Bravo and Robert Spector, supported by portfolio managers Andy Li, Jay Mitchell and Erik Weisman, along with MFS’ 136-strong global fixed income department.
