Two superannuation conferences. Two visits to Adelaide.
Yes, it was only a few short weeks ago that Rollover found himself in Adelaide attending the SMSF Association annual conference and in March he finds himself back in the “City of Churches” attending the Conference of Major Superannuation Funds.
Of course there is a considerable difference between the delegates who attended the SMSF conference and those attending the CMSF – accountants and financial planners versus industry fund trustees and a few union officials.
However Rollover notes that while the SMSF and CMSF delegates may come from different career backgrounds, they have a few things in common – their choice of dining establishments and watering holes in Adelaide.
He notes that one major institution must have liked the restaurant at which it hosted its SMSF clients because it is taking selected CMSF delegates to the exact same venue.
Perhaps dinner will be selected from a different menu.
