Carolyn Baker has been appointed to the board of the Self Managed Super Fund Professionals' Association of Australia (SPAA).
SPAA chair Sharyn Long said the appointment of Long would increase the accounting experience on the board.
"Carolyn's expertise in accounting, audit and SMSF advice, coupled with her business experience from building her own practice, means the SPAA board will be well equipped to improve the quality of advice in the industry," Long said.
Baker is the founder and principal of the Queensland accounting and consulting boutique firm CJ Baker & Associates.
Before she established CJ Baker & Associates, Baker was the manager of the audit and financial services division of PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has also worked in the business services and superannuation division of Ernst & Young.
