Workplace mental health and wellbeing organisation SuperFriend has appointed Elizabeth Proust as the new chair of its board of directors.
Proust would take over from Cbus chief executive, David Atkin, who served as SuperFriend chair for over three years.
She had over 30 years’ experience in leadership roles across private and public sectors in Australia.
Proust had eight years’ experience with ANZ, which included four years as managing director of the bank’s asset finance company, Esanda.
Her prior board experience included being chair of a Federal Government Statutory Authority and she had also been a director of various publicly listed companies.
Proust was made an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2010 for her service to the community through contributions to the arts, charities, and educational bodies.
Margo Lydon, SuperFriend chief executive, said SuperFriend Proust’s extensive leadership and business experience provided her with excellent insights for SuperFriend’s continued evolution.
