UniSuper has been named Super Fund of the Year 2021 at Super Review’s Super Fund of the Year Awards, with its research partner, The Heron Partnership.
The coveted win was based on a holistic assessment of the finalists in each award category and UniSuper was deemed to be the most outstanding fund this year.
Heron’s chief executive, Chris Butler, said the finalists were found through a quantitative assessment.
Then, each finalist was assessed on their greatest achievements, and most significant innovations over the past 12 months, their competitive advantage, the research they undertook to access the needs of their members, their health and wellbeing programs, and how they added value to members in retirement.
Commenting on the win, UniSuper chief executive, Kevin O’Sullivan, said: “I know the team will continue to achieve great success, through delivering great investment performance, low fees, excellent service for everyone who joins us”.
